Your kids
"CAN DO MAGIC!"
(or Juggling, or Puppets, or Circus Skills!)

...building self-confidence and self-esteem while learning about the importance of reading, math, libraries, and good citizenship in your after-school enrichment program!

Join the more than four dozen Austin area schools whose students have benefited by this unique program.

When kids are excited about something, they are ready to learn!

WHAT: After School Magic, Juggling, Puppet and Circus Skills classes. We take the natural excitement that kids find in these subjects and leverage it to teach a wide variety of life skills.

WHERE: You can now get these programs in your school.

WHEN: Most of our classes are once per week for six to eight weeks, but we can be flexible enough to fit into your particular needs.

WHO:Kent Cummins is the designer and primary teacher for these programs, and Kent has taught several other magicians who have recognized teaching skills how to deliver many of the classes.

WHY: Our classes are fun, and therefore we have the kids' attention when we talk about the importance of school, reading, math, conflict resolution, honesty and so much more.Click here for an article written by Kent that discusses the positive impact classes like these can have on kids. (You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader® installed to view the article.)

HOW: Call or email Kent Cummins for availability. Click here for complete contact information including Employer Identification Number.

We usually get more requests than we can fill, so classes are scheduled first come, first served. In case of competing requests, we will give priority to "at risk" schools.

Our educational philosophies

We believe in Gardner's multiple intelligences, in multi-age classrooms, in discovery rather than discipline. We believe in inclusion, that all children have special needs, and that it is the teacher's job to adapt instruction for each child.

We understand that different children have different learning styles, and that they need to use both sides of their brain. Most of all, we believe that children are naturally interested and capable of learning, and that learning can be fun!
